EPA R9 Wetland Program Development Grant virtual conference Nov 17th – Nov 19th

Don’t miss out on the EPA Region 9 Wetland Program Development Grant virtual conference Tuesday, November 17th – Thursday, November 19th
EPA Region 9 2019 Wetland Program Development Grantees will be sharing information, lessons learned, and findings from ten unique wetland program grant funded projects. Topics include: using technology to expand wetland program capacity; developing riparian management goals; development of a tribal wetland program plan; beaver dam restoration monitoring; conservation of key landscapes; wetland mapping, management and partner engagement; coral restoration decision-making; regional monitoring plans; tools for assessing stream ecosystem function; and more. The next Wetland Program Development Grant Request for Applications is expected in early 2021, so this is a great opportunity to get some ideas flowing! Each day will begin at 9:30am and end by 12:45pm PST with breaks and time for discussions. More details, including the agenda, registration information, and more will be following in the next few days. Please share this invitation with any contacts you think may be interested; attendance is open and free for all. The Association of State Wetland Managers (ASWM) is very excited to be partnering with EPA Region 9 on this effort. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out either to Leana Zang-Rosetti at EPA Region 9 (Rosetti.Leana@epa.gov) or to ASWM at 207-892-3399 or by email to marla@aswm.org.
